My painting practice centres on acrylic and collage, driven by a continual curiosity for new techniques and ways of making.
My work is rooted in the landscapes, architecture and textures of my local surroundings, using the familiar as a doorway into something more intimate. Each piece becomes an exploration of both place and emotion, shaped by everyday moments, fleeting feelings and the atmosphere of specific spaces. Rather than aiming for representation, I focus on creating resonance. Texture, layering and depth are central to my process, reflecting the emotional layers we all carry—those visible and those concealed. I am especially drawn to the unseen: the private inner worlds that exist behind walls and in the spaces we rarely reveal.
Through my work, I invite viewers to reflect on their own hidden landscapes, offering a meeting point between what is felt internally and what can be seen on the surface.
