I graduated as a mature student in 2014 with a degree in Fine Art from Wirral Metropolitan College, followed by a year’s Fellowship. Since then I have exhibited in a number of galleries and I am a member of West Kirby Art Group.
Much of my work is multilayered and combines elements which can include photography, print (particularly monotype and collagraph), collage, drawing and paint. My subject matter often includes man-made structures within the landscape and I enjoy the challenge of trying to capture fleeting moments generated by ever changing conditions of light and other elements. As a result my work can tread the line somewhere between abstraction and representation.
