Since being young, I’ve always had an appreciation for nature and the environment. I’ve always loved being practical and for me woodworking is my art form and the colour and feel of wood enables this experimentation.
As humans, being close to nature is a more natural state, and in my belief, vital to our wellbeing.
Being in my workshop, working with wood, as a warm and natural medium, brings me a peace and tranquility and it is like a conversation with nature. The result of the final product is a tactile and visually pleasing form and it does not feel like a temporary innovation but something that will last and stand the test of time.
