The name Utology is a nod to the word utility, as I aim to create products which are inherently useful, now, and in years to come, by drawing on functionality and quality materials.
I work with sustainably sourced hardwoods including oak, walnut and ash, and often incorporate other materials into my designs, including felt, leather and brass. My focus is on creating handmade pieces which are simple in form, yet practical in function. Through clean lines, pared-back aesthetic and understated elegance, I aim to offer timeless, high quality products which are valued and cherished.
