I am a self-taught artist, living in Wallasey. I work mainly in acrylic paints.
The main aim of my work is to explore the relationship between technology and the human memory. As our use of digital technology increases day to day so does its similarities to our human memory processes become ever apparent. Both are incredibly complex and able to perform vast calculations in a matter of seconds. Yet at the same time both are surprisingly fragile. Data on a computer can be erased by a mere slip of the finger, a life time of memories can disappear from the onset of dementia and other such causes.
Over the last couple of years I have taken part in various exhibitions and art fairs. Last year I was shortlisted for the Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize 2017.
