I work with kiln formed glass, creating contemporary glass art and accessories inspired by my regular walks along the Wirral shore. Many of my glass pieces have a beautifully tactile finish reminiscent of sea glass, and cry out to be handled.
I have spent the year exploring the way glass can stretch and flow in the kiln and the way this alters designs on the surface of the glass, creating a new range of pebble shaped dishes inspired by the coast.
As well as these I will have on show my land and seascapes created from glass powder, my range of glass pebble jewellery and pieces created from recycled glass and old bottles.
Come along and explore the fascinating processes involved in working with glass.
