Jimbo

I feel blessed and lucky. I have been able to complete commissions in Paris for weddings, design cloth for Swedish children’s clothing, and indulge in illustrating my children’s lives and my own precarious romances.

I have ceased to do commissions, but when I did they included mosaics at Aintree racecourse, murals in schools and cafes, ceramics for birthdays and weddings, album sleeves (and play harmonica on albums) and large pieces and intimate work, often through Bluemoon Gallery.

During  lockdown I have been creating comic figures abstracted from paper mache, casting from ginger root, and a sustained series of self portraits for a facebook Sunday group. I like using paper bags to create three dimensional heads.
