I learned traditional woodcarving with Wirral woodcarver John White, I then went on to train with internationally renowned master woodcarver Michael Painter before taking up sculpting professionally.
I now exhibit and sell my sculptures and teach woodcarving. I have a love for the unique warmth and character of carved wood, and have a passion for bringing out its natural beauty. I find inspiration in the natural world and humans place within it and develop my thoughts into unique, original pieces of contemporary sculpture.
I also make a range of highly individual pendants and earrings which incorporate hand carved wood, driftwood, sea glass and recycled components.
