Katie Tyson is a watercolour artist with a love of colour, pattern and the natural world. From her paintings she creates vibrant and colourful digitally printed textiles inspired by flora, fauna and fairytales.
Katie gained a 1st Class Honours Degree in Fashion Print at Central Saint Martins, London and has enjoyed a long career as a printed textile designer for the fashion industry. With a career taking her to work in London and as far a field as Bali, Indonesia.
She uses this creative and varied career as source of inspiration for her teaching. In 2025 she has developed adult art classes at venues in Bebington and Port Sunlight providing colourful and uplifting painting courses and workshops, which she is is keen to share details of at the open studios.
