Ken Burnley

The Museum of Printing

Ken has spent all his life in the printing industry as a compositor and typographer. He has helped set up the Museum of Printing within Amorini Antiques Centre where he uses the printing equipment to create both formal and informal prints using traditional letterpress techniques. The studio at the Museum has a wide range of both wood-letter (poster type) and metal type which is used to create a large variety of work including posters, books, keepsakes and general ephemera printed on the several Victorian hand-presses.
