Liwei Chen got her art and craft degree when she was in China. She moved to the UK 18 years ago and draws inspiration from the culture and art of both places.
Liwei’s home town is in a province which has 25 nationalities, 1000 varieties of flowers and plants including hundreds of different orchids and some nearly extinct animals. The province is on the border of China with Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar; all having a long fascinating history and variety of art. All this provides inspiration for her art works.
