I was born in the city of Kunming in Yunnan province, south west of China; a culturally diverse province that has 25 different nationalities as well as Han Chinese.
While at primary school, my favorite subject was always painting, and I eventually went to University and got my degree in art and design.
I have lived in Wirral for 15 years now. The local flowers and birds, landscapes and old buildings give me a variety of inspiration for my paintings; and I enjoy painting a bunch of flowers bought from the local shop, or a park that I have walked by.
I have taken part in the Wirral Open Studio Tour at the Williamson Art Gallery since 2014.
I have run many Chinese cultural events and workshops in Wirral, Liverpool,Manchester and London; in primary schools, secondary schools, town halls, libraries and art galleries.
