I have drawn, painted and created art and crafts in my spare time for most of my working life, attending many evening classes, workshops and joining art groups. Retirement 12 years ago brought more time to develop my skills and experience, and four years ago I took a studio in Birkenhead with MAKE Hamilton, from which my creativity and confidence has blossomed. Age has sadly caught up with my eyesight – but not my vision. I despair at our planet’s endangered state and the loss of humanity across the globe. But I love to create collage papers using wonderful colours, patterns and shapes to create abstract and intuitive art from memories – good and bad – and from imagination and hope for the future generations.
