Mon Ceramics
I have been making ceramics for 35 years and have gone through various phases in the work I have created: functional, installation and sculptural work; often returning to the figurative and emotional and symbolic. I am currently working very slowly on a body of work trying to respond to the despair I feel at the state the political world is in and how it relates to me as an individual and to the more everyday ordinary life of most of us. Distracted as I am by the successful little pottery school I run, and am proud of, I would like to take this opportunity to show my recent work and the studio it sits in.
