I am a Wirral based artist working from my studio at the back of my house overlooking the River Dee. The changing light, sea and sky provided me with my inspiration.
When I moved to Wirral in 2019 I was completely blown away with every aspect of Wirral and its scenery. Big sky’s, colourful sunsets and endless walks on the beach with my children inspired me to pick up a paint brush and finally put my degree (BA Hons Animation & illustration) to good use!
Predominantly my medium is acrylic on card and canvas. My love and understanding of colour is apparent throughout my paintings. A wide subject matter informs my work of land sea and sky combined with happy, treasured, fun memories and experiences I have had with my wonderful children, family and friends. This is expressed throughout all of my colourful abstract pieces.
