My work is abstract, expressive and experimental. Painting with an assortment of tools and using a variety of contrasting and complementary colours, I adopt a free and instinctive range of movements. I relish having a free rein to explore shape, texture, line and colour ignoring the confines of expectation and judgement that can so often hinder expression.
Having studied Arts Management and Graphic Design I am now completing a degree in Interior Design and am taking time to experiment with my creativity in different art forms, to discover new ways to apply art within the space that we create around us. As a naturally creative person I am drawn to many visual arts and aesthetic styles. Capturing images through photography and print making are areas of work I greatly enjoy and am working to find new applications of these art forms.
