Having participated in Wirral Open Studio tour since 2016, I started as a textile artist (principally wet felt pictures and accessories). Since 2022 I have explored further artistic techniques as part of my creative development. This has led to a keen interest in print making, zine making and urban sketching.
My work is always evolving and currently focuses on lino prints which I hand colour with watercolour. I love exploring the way my cuts convey a sense of movement and being in the landscape both urban and rural. The contrast of strong printed marks with subdued colour has become my signature style.
For this year’s tour I will be showing my new collection of original limited edition lino prints and cards depicting Liverpool and Chester alongside my Wirral landscapes.
