My art practices are varied. I often find that combining media and working across disciplines helps me to develop new ways of working.
I am currently enjoying working on pieces inspired by the natural environment. Being a keen gardener and working on an allotment through lockdown helped me to realise that being in touch with the ground, the seasons and growing food and flowers was therapeutic and this has greatly influenced my recent practice.
I am also influenced by the sea and the shore line, its fauna and flora. The way the light and weather changes and it’s effects… I have recently immersed myself in the sea, and regularly swimming in it has infiltrated my practice and changed my ways of experiencing the sea and its different moods and the feelings of connection it inspires.
